I spent 30 years in Austin working with creative people towing the line between their own art and paying gigs. Among the highlights of this chapter of life was living around and working with numerous artists, musicians, creative things, developing skills and work in a like-minded D-I-Y and independent mindset. It is a very open non-scene scene.
I chose these Artists to be in the show for their personhood, unique point of views and impactful finished work. They are all sourcing ideas they believe in, they have focus and dedication, craftspersonship, love for sharing the work they make.
I hope you will welcome these out-of-town guests by bringing friends to Shiny Object to see their work!
